Updates

During 1999–2001 we had the opportunity to serve a second mission in the Asia Area Office in Hong Kong as Area Welfare Agents. Mongolia was among the countries assigned to us as our particular area of responsibility so we had the rare opportunity (among missionaries) to return to our field of initial endeavor to see how things were developing. Then, from January 2001 to October 2001, we were reassigned to Mongolia on a full-time basis to establish employment programs for the returned missionaries and members there. Following are some of the changes we noticed from our first mission in 1997–98 to our subsequent return. (page 321)
